Sex & Relationship Therapy

Let’s Talk About Sex.
Yes, Even the Awkward Stuff.
Sexual empowerment begins with understanding yourself. Whether you’re facing challenges in intimacy, navigating relationship concerns, healing from past experiences, or simply wanting a deeper connection with your sexuality, therapy can provide a supportive space for growth, healing, and self-discovery. You deserve to experience confidence, connection, and fulfillment in your intimate life.
My approach is warm, direct, compassionate, and practical.
I believe that sexual concerns rarely exist in isolation. Often, challenges in intimacy are connected to communication patterns, relationship dynamics, past experiences, self-esteem, stress, anxiety, or unresolved emotional wounds.
Together, we’ll explore the deeper factors contributing to your struggles while building the tools and confidence needed to create meaningful change.
This is a collaborative process. I won’t tell you what’s “normal” or what your relationship should look like. Instead, I’ll help you better understand yourself, your needs, your desires, and the relationships that matter most to you.
Talking about sex can feel uncomfortable, confusing, or even shameful—but it doesn’t have to be.
Throughout my career, I’ve seen how many people struggle silently with sexual concerns, relationship challenges, intimacy issues, and past experiences that affect their ability to connect with themselves and others. Too often, people believe they’re the only ones experiencing these difficulties.
They’re not.
My passion is helping individuals and couples move beyond shame, fear, frustration, and disconnection so they can experience greater confidence, communication, pleasure, and intimacy.
Whether you’re navigating low desire, sexual anxiety, erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, painful experiences from the past, relationship conflict, or simply want a healthier connection with your sexuality, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
I’ve dedicated my career to creating a safe, judgment-free space where people can openly discuss topics that are often difficult to talk about elsewhere.

As a sex therapist in Long Beach, I help individuals and couples address sexual concerns, intimacy, desire, and relationship challenges. I can help you get beyond low-desire, premature ejaculation, erectile dysfunction, sex-related fears, anxiety, guilt, shame, obsessive behaviors, or past sexual traumas/rape/child abuse that may be impacting your relationships and intimacy.
Together we will work on developing healthy skills for coping with life’s difficulties, gaining the strength to overcome sex and intimacy issues, and more effective ways for communicating about sex, intimacy, sexual desires, sexual fears, and sexual problems, to ultimately create greater satisfaction in your relationships and life.
I find that most problems with sex are driven by things that are not directly related to the actual act of sex – it’s all that other stuff.
Stuff like insecurities about our bodies, beliefs we have about what good sex looks like, how men and women are supposed to perform sexually, overall dissatisfaction in our relationships related to unresolved conflict, resentment towards our partner, communication difficulties, respect, loyalty, trust, etc.

You are not the only one! I am asked on a daily basis “Is my sexual problem normal?” And I always tell my clients “I don’t use the word normal.” Is your sexual problem typical? Probably.
Friends and family members don’t talk openly or honestly about sex, sexual problems, sexual pleasure, or sexual satisfaction like other life challenges. This makes it difficult to know what or who to go to if you are struggling with your sexual or intimate relationships or even just working on empowering your sexual self.
Movies and Media make sex look so easy and this is unrealistic. Sex and intimacy can be difficult, people and relationships are complicated, and sometimes we need help to create satisfying intimate relationships and to find our own sexual satisfaction. This is where sex therapy and counseling comes in.
